-
1 to 2 teaspoons of ground cardamom (adjust to taste)
-
3 cups of water
- 1 tablespoon of sugar (optional, adjust to taste)
Recipe Notes: Arabic coffee is traditionally brewed in a Dallah (coffee pot), but you can use any small pot to replicate the process. The use of Arabic Cawa cups ensures that the coffee’s richness is appreciated in small sips, staying true to tradition.
Instructions:
-
Grind the Coffee: If using whole coffee beans, grind them to a fine consistency.
-
Prepare the Pot: Pour 3 cups of water into a Dallah (traditional Arabic coffee pot) or small saucepan.
-
Add Coffee and Cardamom: Stir in the ground coffee and cardamom into the water.
-
Boil the Coffee: Heat the mixture over medium heat. Once it begins to foam, remove the pot from the heat. Let the foam settle, then return to heat. Repeat this process 2-3 times.
-
Sweeten (Optional): Add sugar to taste, stirring until dissolved.
- Serve: Pour the coffee into Arabic Cawa cups, filling each cup halfway.
- Enjoy: Serve with dates or sweet treats for a traditional touch.
Enjoy your warm, comforting cup of Arabic Cawa, perfect for savoring in your elegant Arabic Cawa cups.
