No-Knead Rustic Bread

Ingredients Notes:
  • 3 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1½ teaspoons salt
  • ½ teaspoon instant yeast
  • 1½ cups warm water

Recipe Notes:  This no-knead rustic bread is the ultimate convenience recipe. It requires minimal effort—just a few simple ingredients—and can be baked to perfection in your Dutch oven. The result is a crunchy, golden crust with a soft, airy inside. VAV GET's Dutch oven ensures even heat distribution, which makes this bread rise beautifully with a crisp outer texture. For extra flavor, feel free to add some fresh herbs or a splash of olive oil to the dough.

Instructions:

  • In a large bowl, combine the flour, salt, and yeast. Add the warm water and stir until a sticky dough forms.
  • Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and let it rise for 12-18 hours at room temperature.
  • Preheat your Dutch oven to 450°F (230°C) for 30 minutes.
  • Once the dough has risen, shape it into a round loaf on a lightly floured surface.
  • Place the dough into the preheated Dutch oven. Bake, covered, for 30 minutes.
  • Remove the lid and bake for an additional 15 minutes, until the crust is golden brown.
  • Let the bread cool completely before slicing and serving.
